Mobile Automation delivered the electrical installation of a new packing and stacking line for Inex Independent Extrusions.
The challenge
A new stacking system and cardboard-cutting machine needed powering, with relocatable operator control stations and full power and data provisioning, installed around the line build.
Our approach
Mobile Automation ran the machine supplies and data, and adapted the operator-station locations as the line layout was finalised.
Scope of works
- Power to the cardboard-cutting machine and new stacking system, with machine supply circuits in single and three phase
- Relocated and extended the remote operator control panels and stations as layout changed, using junction boxes to extend cabling
- GPO and Cat6 data points installed and tested
- Cable protection throughout — cable tray, and steel/metallic conduit for mechanical protection, including near the oven
