Electrical Project Manager

A long term career opportunity is available for a motivated electrical project manager to join our growing team.

We are look for a candidate who is a fully qualified special class electrician and experience in working in a industrial environment.

You must also have the skills following:
 
• Ability to lead a team of industrial electricians
• Ability to develop cost estimates for large scale projects
• Experienced in sizing mains cables, switchboards and transformers
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong computer skills in the basic Microsoft programs
• Ability to liaise with power companies and clients
• Ability to produce professional client proposals

This role requires a team based individual, whom has a focus on quality and has a high degree of energy & enthusiasm. We are looking for an organised, driven individual who can be involved in all stages of a project from the quoting and organising to the execution of project. The candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic and have strong communication skills. As you will be representing the company and liaise with clients we require you to complete all your tasks with a positive and professional manner.

While your role will involve a significant amount of time supervising, coordinating and quoting, at times this a very hands-on role.
 
You’ll need to be well presented, trustworthy, punctual and will approach everything with a positive attitude.  You’ll be keen to take this opportunity to learn, grow and achieve well above average results and remuneration.  As part of the position you’ll be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle, mobile phone, specialist equipment and a company uniform.  The role involves some travel around country Victoria depending on projects.
